Kids' Furniture is a consumer furniture collection that we designed for the Matha Stewart furniture brand. In this collection, I work with a junior designer to design 15 furniture and tabletop items under their brand.
The different requirements for education and consumers are the main challenge of the project. Although we have design guidelines from Martha Stewart, we still went through extensive research and testing before pushing the product into the market.

Research and Brief
We start with researching the old collection that Matha used to have in their catalog. Their goal is to find a supplement collection that follows the same language. After discussions, we come up with a comprehensive brief.

The brief and styling are clear and comprehensive enough. We decided to go straight into the development process to hasten the development.
